During the 2020-2021 academic year I served as a state ambassador for the Ohio chapter of Educators Rising. Educators Rising is a national organization for primarily high school students to learn about different teaching professions, allowing them to apply their future career to their primary education. In this role, I attended weekly meetings, created content for the program, planned for the state conference, and much more. Because of the pandemic, this experience was done online, but I am so grateful for the opportunities I received and the connections I made. One of my favorite pieces of this program was when we had a leadership conference and got to meet with a professional leadership mentor and explore our passions and strengthen our professional skills.
